Jaden has his Dad’s looks and his mom’s hair. Jealous my hair doesn’t curl like that without a ton of water,gel activator and mousse. It’s a crying shame.
I love the kids but why do I feel like he is such an obnoxious child

I thought this problem was solved yesterday when you posted a pic of his hair braided.
I’m glad he has his own sense of style. And his parents let him express it. Now when he starts messing with makeup and tight skinny jeans, then I think his parents should worry.

Ummm…Jaden is as cute as a button…we all know he is a lil boy, with the beautiful curly hair, braids, or locks. He’s a handsome, talented kid.
I understand the look they’re going for and if it was a curly fro or something (like the old Maxwell) i wouldn’t trip.
I think this one doesn’t look “natural”. It looks like they braided his hair and then added juices and berries and mousse to pull this off “look” (although he seem to have a naturally curly texture).
I believe in boys being boys and that just seems like a bit much “primping” for little boys.

I don’t know about that. I have never seen Jada’s hair with a natural waviness to it. Will on the other hand clearly has less kinky hair. If he partakes of the process aka S-Curl, he has been doing so faithfully his whole 22 year career.
^^Google some pictures of Jada. Her hair is just as curly. On another note, I put Indian Remy in my hair a couple of months back. Acheieved the same look but it was TOO much to keep up. Everyday I was soaking my hair with water and mousse to keep it curly. You couldn’t tell me nothing

Will and Jada have made some beautiful children. They are such a wonderful, grounded and powerful family unit. The Obama’s of Hollywood if you will. Great marriage, great respect, and i’m proud that they are a black couple with those great qualities.

Thank goodness his last name is SMITH so he doesn’t feel the need to keep up with the Joneses. He has his OWN style and he should keep it that way. Its hard enough being a celebrity’s kid, at least let him keep his own image. By the way he is soooo cute!

I am not sure what kind of women he will date when he grows up but I do believe when im a Sr Citizen the black family will be close to becoming extinct but to each their own!
I think that it is beautiful. I also think that it is great that his parents let him express himself. As a mother I firmly believe in allowing children to be able to express themselves.

I think its cute. I have four boys with long hair and if they want to wear their hair out for a day I would let them. They are confident and knows who they are. Everyone is entilted to their own expression and yes when it comes to a child there is a limit but I see nothing wrong with how he looks. We must come to a realizations that times have changed. I see no one taking about the gut from HSM because his hair is not as long because he keeps it cut to a certain length. Jaden lives, goes to school and are friends with white people and they wear their hair like this and maybe hes into the Rock style. Sorry for the extended response I had to snap back but hes still a cutie.
