Seantor Joe Biden chided Barack Obama (again) for not consulting the head of the Senate intelligence committee when he named a completely inexperienced 70-year-old Clinton crony to run the CIA.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein bristled at the fact that she was not notified — or anyone in Congress for that matter.
Obama later apologized to Feinstein, but that wasn’t enough for Biden.
Sen. Biden sided with the chairwoman, saying Obama made “a mistake.” Well, at least Biden is honest.
Chatting with reporters after he was sworn in for a seventh term in the Senate, Biden called it “a mistake” that the Obama transition selected Leon Panetta as CIA director without consulting the Senate intelligence committee.
“I’m still a Senate man and I always think this way. I think it’s always good to talk to the requisite members of Congress,” Biden said. “I think it was just a mistake.” (LINK)
ho hum.
I like Biden he keeps it real for the most part. This is going to be an interesting four years with him, BHO and Hill all in the same administration…
He’s human, none of us go without saying. Next.
I HOPE we are not going to get into semantics about everything Obama does. This is going to be a long four years.
so what even obama said it was a mistake. look every body up there has and will there feet stepped on at some time in there life.
This will be an interesting 8 yrs not 4. I believe he said more than once he wasnt perfect and would make mistakes as President but he would do his very best for his country. Jan 20th the countdown has begun!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d rather just leave it at four for now…
Sandra,Sandra
Mistakes are expected the first time around.
How else is our beloved President Elect Obama gonna know what to do the next time around.
Well I wouldnt so 8 is for me not you..You can stick with 4 all you want but for me and mine its EIGHT..lol
***********NEWS FLASH************
President Bush has made 1,000,000,000 mistakes.
Biden is entitled to his opinion, but if it was against the law for Barack to appoint whoever he wanted without consulting anyone he wouldn’t have been able to do it. If anyone is allowed to ruffle the feathers of their underlings at will it is the president. Screw those people. He ain’t got to consult them on jack.
Biden was sworn in to the senate? A black man can’t do no right in some people’s eyes. Or is it that they focus more on the mistakes rather than the successes?
