Well… I have to admit the mortgage drama is indeed that. I hate to put on my black republican hat, but why do people that haven’t bothered paying their mortgages get saved, but people pinching pennies to make sure it’s paid get nothing?!? So, now I need to help pay my neighbor’s bill when they squatted for 8 months being trifflin’ and not paying their bills? Hayle nah… By month 2 you should have realized that you couldn’t pay it and should have looked into selling. Thats some bullish…

I understand the frustration at having to help others with their mortgage situation, but what good would your home be if most houses in your neighborhood were foreclosed on. Talk about bringing property value down. This is a neccessary evil.
Get over it, people. Things were in shambles in the U.S. before Obama took office and as we have always heard it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. Save your chips and get prepared.

You know what everybody needs to do? Everybody needs to sit down and watch one of my favorite movies…”It’s a wonderful life”…and see what George Bailey was talking about…which is what Obama has basically been preaching and doing since he took office…
You can’t invest money into “nothing” (i.e. the Free market system…where the rich get richer)…you invest your money in the INFRASTRUCTURE (homes, streets, sewer system, schools, EACH OTHER)…and then you HAVE SOMETHING THAT’S WORTH SOMETHING…
Just this morning, on the radio…they were talking about how the damns and leevees that hold the water back in Illnois are so decrepit…that in the next couple of years, if TWELVE BILLION DOLLARS ISN’T SPENT ON THE ANTIQUATED SYSTEM…JOLIET, ILLINOIS WILL BASICALLY BE UNDER WATER…
So keep on jumping on Obama because of his efforts to invest in this country in a way where everyone benefits …instead of in b.s. that only profits 1% of the individuals in this country…I will just refill my glass of Obamaid…GLADLY!!!

I think it’s tragic how much criticism is being launched at our President when he’s just made it a month in office. The problems he has would be any new President’s problems. He’s President, he’s not a frigging magician.
Getting us out of this decade long mess is going to take trial and error. I’m just so sick of the negative messages and posts because it’s retarded. We need something like a miracle to get us out of this thing by 2010. And, last I checked my President doesn’t walk on water. He deserves a fair shot… not just all the pot shots. Enough already…

I totally agree. I’m still for President Obama, but I do understand how folks feel about the mortgage problem. Yeah, we have to help them to keep our property value up… but damn, there has to be a medium somewhere. I guess this is what happens when people live outside of their means.
He did inherit a bad situation. My heart and hopeful wishes go out to him. They always give us something when it’s ran down and a mess. LOL
