From WSBTV.com:
Former Atlanta radio personality Porsche Foxx denied being at the scene of a condo fire after being named as a “person of interest” in the investigation into the cause of that fire.
“I absolutely, positively, without a question, don’t know anything about this or have anything to do with any fire,” Foxx said at a Tuesday afternoon press conference.
The fire started in the Mallory Park Townhomes in the 100 block of Bagby Court in Union City about 2:30 a.m. One unit was destroyed and two others suffered heavy damage.
One resident suffered second-degree burns.
Keith Padgett, chief fire marshal for the Fulton County Fire Department named Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, and Tony Matthews as “persons of interest” in the case.
“These are not suspects, they’re just people we would like to speak with,” said Padgett.
Mary Matthews, the mother of Tony Matthews, was the woman burned in the fire and told neighbors Foxx set the fire.
A condo resident told WSB-TV that Mary Matthews knocked on her door and said “That woman set the fire,” referring to Foxx.
