Before Barack Obama was elected president, his supporters blamed George Bush for spending billions on the war in Iraq. Now that Obama is about to sign a bill into law that will cost TWICE as much as the Iraqi war, you don’t hear a peep from the Kool-Aid drinkers.

When protestors march outside the Denver Museum of Nature & Science today where Obama plans to sign his wasteful bill into law, he will probably turn to them and say, “I won!”

After weeks of promising the American people the sun and the moon if this $800 billion stimulus bill passed, the White House finally admitted yesterday that they were less than forthcoming with the truth.

“Don’t expect miracles… It’s likely to get worse before it gets better,” admitted David Axelrod, White House Senior Advisor.

According to Sweetness & Light blog, Obama broke evey promise he made in connection with his stimulus bill.

7 Broken Promises in Record Time

    1. Make government open and transparent.
    2. Make it “impossible” for Congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects.
    3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public.
    4. No more secrecy.
    5. Public will have 5 days to look at a bill.
    6. You’ll know what’s in it.
    7. We will put every bill project online.
