Oprah Winfrey is notorious for hogging the covers of her magazine “O” for herself or her spoiled dogs. But she finally shares this month’s issue with another human being, First Lady Michelle Obama.
The cover was taken when Oprah visited the Obama’s new digs in D.C. recently. There were rumors that Michelle was salty with Oprah for claiming Barack Obama’s victory in the elections was all her doing. But we know Michelle has more sense than to be that catty.
Here’s what Michelle said about her new crib:
“It’s a beautiful home,” Michelle tells Oprah of her new digs. “When you go out and come back, especially at night, with all the white lights on – it’s just beautiful. We feel privileged, and we feel a responsibility to make it feel like the people’s house. We have the good fortune of being able to sleep here, but this house belongs to America.”
The new issue of Oprah Winfrey’s magazine has double the”O” factor – Michelle Obama joins the daytime diva on the cover of O in April, a joint venture that’s a first for the mag. LINK
