Her name is Dawn Ostroff, and she is President of Entertainment for the CW Network. Apparently Ostroff knows a thing or two about quality because she rid the CW network of two shows that never really should have seen the light of day: The Game and Eve.
Complain if you must, but it really is sad that we as a black community always tend to settle for less than the very best for ourselves.
Now the challenge is on for an urban production company to pitch a quality black TV show to the networks that we can all watch with pride and without cringing.
Thank God for syndication, TV Land and YouTube where we can watch reruns of Girlfriends, Half & Half, Martin, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Family Matters, Moesha, Good Times, etc.
