Several blogs are reporting that disgraced singer Chris Brown covered up his tribal tattoo on his right hand recently. As you know CB is about to go on trial for slapping his former girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna up earlier this year.
Supposedly, legend has it that both Chris and Rihanna got matching tattoos (inset), but I never saw any evidence of that.
I also don’t see any evidence that he covered his tribal tattoo up — especially since he apparently never had one to begin with. All I see is the same garbage he already had on his hand and arm. Maybe one of my more astute readers can dig up photos that confirms they even had matching tribal tattoos.
Isn’t it a shame how our young black men disfigure their bodies when our African ancestors died while being branded by slave traders?

*on the damn flo’* There is absolutely no relation between the 2. NONE AT ALL…
Everyone is getting tatted up!
Well over 90% of the tattoos I’ve seen are Useless-n-Ugly on the skins of our young adults-n-teenagers IMO
Genius, tattoos weren’t just now invented. I don’t even feel like getting into it with you today lol.
I almost vomitted looking at how some NBA players had tatooed their bodies as I watched the playoff games. Ink is for paper, not the body. That ish looked nasty. If I were an NBA commissioner, I would band tattos on the visible parts of the boby.
is Attorneymom serious? WOWW… Tattoos are body art. Banning tattoos is like banning braids or dreds or hair color. JUST wrong. If you don’t like tattoos turn the channel!
Then sandra you should be disgusted with Tiny, Keycole, monica etc.,, I like tats on dudes I think its an expression of art, but what I dont like is when some females get the prison tats all on there arms and chest area I mean dang! that donot look ladylike all tattooed up and hence Keyco everytime she wears a dress or something cute her big azz tat takes away from her style!
You mean all she had to do was shut up and all he had to do was drive…lol Good one though Sandra
I like tatts I have two but I think some ppl go to far but to each their own.
My question is, why do his tats look like chicken scratch? Don’t really care about the rumor.
@daisy
leave it up to sandra that nicca chris will be 8ft under jail!!!!
THE TATTOO BEHIND THE EAR, DIDN’T THEY SHARE THAT ONE AS WELL?
@muncho
yeah! they both have the same tatts behind the ear..
his tats dont look finished.. he is/was such a good looking young man complete with nice skin, shame he’s going overbord with it… a few is fine people go overboard i.e lil wayne, or every nba player
DEAD and GONE at Sponge saying Lil wayne is fine..lol
@Mizz Yeah I know where Sandra stands and she knows where I stand..lol Its all good.
The good thing about a fad is that once it’s over, it’s gone. These ugly azz tattoos on these young men will scar them for life. They will be 70 year old grandfathers with ugly tattoos all over their bodies. It is not cute.
By the way, men get tattoos not to impress females, but to impress other men. Think about that.
A
no lol @daisy i dont use puncuation lol i meant some people are fine, but lil wayne and the nba players go overboard lol lil wayne has no bare skin left on his puny body
Allen Iverson is so sexy and cute with his tats
side note: chris brown looks SO sweet and innocent
@netta0281 BEFORE he cut his braids…. its just not the same IMO i miss his braids
I saw a old azz caucasian lady at Target with a tat on her neck, but she was so wrinkled I couldn’t tell what it was!!!!!
@spongeboban
me and son is watching spongebob now lol but yes i like the braids 2 shit i havent seen him since april i cant remember how he looks
he will be resurfacing soon his birthday is in 6 days
Ms. Sandra
I THINK you need to slow up because you’re making too much sense for some LMAO
And I only have a problem with UGLY-AZZ Tats which the vast majority of our youth-n-young adults have ESPECIALLY the majority of the NBA Players LOL
AI looks GOOD braids or no braids it was time for him to let them go.
@Elove Differences make the world go round!
@daisy your right i just love them tats especially the neck tats so sexy
how many females in here has the “tramp stamp”? i wonder why they call it that i used to like those lower back tats
@daisy AI does look good.. but he looked better with them last i seen him he didnt even have a good haircut
@netta me and my 4yo loves spongy lol! and i hope AI comes to philly or at least atlantic city during his bday holiday(doubt it)
IMO tattoos are not meant to impress anyone – they’re a form of self-expression and bear some meaning or importance to those who have them. it should’nt matter to anyone else what someone chooses to do with their body because it doesnt concern them! what i will say tho is that people should’nt get dumb stuff, like a baby phat symbol, or their favorite celebrity’s autograph. personally all of my tattoos bear some significance to me and i dont mind having them for the rest of my life
I do not like neck tatts at all.lol
AI’s hair looked funny then cause he had not had a haircut in YEARS he has to re train his hair that N still looked good to me
I have a tramp stamp that I never show..lol I have words no design. I want a 3rd tatt but I am fighting the urge..lol So many women at the gym are quick to show their tramp stamp wether they need to or not..lol
Atown very well said!
tattoos dont impress me their sexy though,@Daisy he might be in atl or love in washington, dc
i got 3 tats my name, my son name and our b days i want another too
@spongebob Daisy he might be in atl or love in washington, dc
now lil wayne had run out completely he has no space life unless he want to tattoo his ****
@ netta im sure that nicca already tatted his dyck… i’ll ask lauren
@Daisy
So does Political-n-Judicial-n-Corporate Corruption LOL
One question:
Would Mary J look much better Right-Now WITH TATS
or W/O all those ugly-azz tats including the leg one !!!
BTW I LIKED Eve’s paw-tats because they can be covered up
AND because she’s always been hot to me LOL
Monday is in the books everyone have a good night!
the word tattoo is said to has two major derivations- from
the polynesian word ‘ta’ which means striking something
and the tahitian word ‘tatau’ which means ‘to mark something’.
the history of tattoo began over 5000 years ago and is as
diverse as the people who wear them.
tattoos are created by inserting colored materials beneath
the skins surface. the first tattoos probably were created
by accident. someone had a small wound, and rubbed it
with a hand that was dirty with soot and ashes from the fire.
once the wound had healed, they saw that a mark stayed
permanently.
despite the social sciences’ growing fascination with tattooing,
and the immense popularity of tattoos themselves,
the practice has not left much of a historical record.
—
bronze age
in 1991, a five thousand year old tattooed man ‘ötzi the ice man’
made the headlines of newspapers all over the world when
his frozen body was discovered on a mountain between
austria and italy.
this is the best preserved corpse of that period ever found.
the skin bears 57 tattoos: a cross on the inside of the left knee,
six straight lines 15 centimeters long above the kidneys and
numerous parallel lines on the ankles.
the position of the tattoo marks suggests that they were probably
applied for therapeutic reasons (treatment of arthritis).
africa
in africa, where people have dark skin, it is difficult to make
coloured tattoos as we know them.
but they want to be tattooed anyway, so they have developed
another technique – they make scarifications (this is not really
tattooing, but it is related to tattooing). made by lifting the skin a little,
and making a cut with a knife or some other sharp thing
special sands or ashes were rubbed in to make raised scars
in patterns on the body, it can be felt like braille lettering…
these patterns often follow local traditions.

Sooooo .. that pretty much shoot the theory of African Ancestors not having them to hell in a hand bag huh ….
@spongebobfan u think so
@ELove I said some people can and do go to far but to each their own. If MJB and others like it then I love it. I love Eve’s paw prints as well.
I just hate that so many young people get them all over their necks and arms and then wonder why they can not get a decent job. A neck tat just represents someone who has been or is going to jail to me, just ghetto. I don’t have any and will not be getting any, plus this use to just be for men in prison and then it came out to the street like the baggy pants fad.
i thought they hand matching star tatts………didn’t post proof that like last year sometime Sandra?
@Krysi yes they do somebody spoke on that earlier they are behind their ears.
WTH, is going on with my typing today?!
I meant…
I thought they had matching star tatts? Didn’t you post proof of that last year?
@Daisy
Oh my bad …LOL. After I corrected my shyt…LMAO…
I am still shocked that Sandra has a CB post I need to save the date..lol
I am a fan of tattoos. I have 10. They are not on my arms or neck and they can all be covered. The crazy thing is, I’m not done. However, I do have a problem with people that have tattoos everywhere that can not be covered ie neck, face, hands, etc. I dont think it looks good.
Ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black!
BTW…If the tattoos tie in together or look good, it’s not a problem. The problem occurs when you have a bunch of mismatched ones that look a mess…See Allen Iverson and Kenyon Martin. A MESS!
and to everyone wondering about how people look at 70 with tattoos. My grandfather a retired Navy Officer died with a woman tattooed on his arm @ 80! ha! It looked great and until the day he died he always was for tattoos!
i have 5 but they can all be covered. i want one on my foot. i heard that it hurts like hell!
I love u Auntie, but lets not start today; African tribes have their own forms of skin art, markings and tattoos and brands and different form all of those and it the meaning behind the act.
