I am an avid reader of your site and I know by now that you are not a kool-aid drinker. The above link is from CNN regarding the prisoners (or former prisoners) of Guantanamo Bay. I just thought that you might be interested. I understand some of the politics behind closing the prison.
The Administration is concerned about this country’s reputation. But I am more concerned about why some of these criminals are roaming free on a beautiful tropical island and living in an American government sponsored apartment…. and if some of the prisoners are to be transferred to another country, they might receive $100,000 for re-settlement. The closing of Guantanamo Bay and the movement of the prisoners may or may not affect us greatly. But I can’t help but to ask if our tax dollars [are] going towards this as well? If you choose not to post this article or the link, I understand.
