TV personality/socialite Kim Kardashian decided to stop waiting around for her boyfriend, superstar NFL player Reggie Bush to put a ring on it. She’s going shopping for her own expensive rock — as she should. If you’re giving the milk up for free, why expect the man to buy the cow for you too?
Weddings are for women anyways. Most men would rather go to Vegas for a quickie wedding to get it over with. While women — especially the spoiled prissy types — want to make a dramatic broadway production out of getting married for the benefit of their family and friends. Studies show, those marriages rarely last, by the way.
The “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star has already enlisted the help of her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, to guide her boyfriend of two years towards her favorite baubles for when time comes to pop the question. And to Kim, price is not an issue. “She found one the other day and she was like, ‘It’s only $20 million,'” Kourtney says. Kim, 28, says the extravagant price is only an elaboration that will have Bush relieved.
She says, “I exaggerated a bit so that when he went in, he would feel like he’s getting a good deal.” Although the Kardashians aren’t afraid to air the family’s dirty laundry on their reality show, Bush, 24, would not want cameras rolling at the wedding ceremony. “Reggie would rather die,” Kim says. “He would rather not marry me. He’s very private. We’re complete opposites.” [link]
