Former B2K member ~~and rumored to be Bow Wow’s ex-lover~~ Omarion has confirmed rumors that he signed with Young Money Records. As you know, the label is owned by Lil Wayne whose annoying voice has been known to send some people into convulsions. A flop signs a flop. Is that a first?

WOW!!!! Vibe did an article on these Young Money folks and the only one who seemed to have any sense was taht Drake dude. The other ones looked and acted like some crazy kids.

so exactly what does getting signed mean? i’m sure deals differ artist to artist, but i’m wondering xactly why has omarion signed on to do or get? i heard years ago that these type deals (where artists sign other artists to their labels) generate income for the lil waynes because they get a finders fee. lil wayne can’t do much for o’marion, but apparently his parent label will invest some resources in him since the main artist is practically co-signin??? it was murky to me then and i’m still not clear. but it’s what i heard.

I think this is a good move on Weezy’s part actually. O was slept on a bit. I think he is talented. He just needs to distance himself from Chris Stokes and his shadiness/downlo-ness. I like Omarion’s voice too.
