If the rumors are true that radio jock Charlamagne was fired then let me be the first to congratulate the radio station’s GM for his/her decision! I don’t normally applaud when someone loses their job, but Charlamagne is one toxic brother whose poisonous vibes affects everyone and everything he touches.
He was the worst thing that ever happened to shock jock Wendy Williams when he produced her popular show on WBLS in NYC until he was unceremoniously fired from that station last year.

If you are not aware, he was the one who first interviewed Beanie Siegel this past Friday concerning the Jay-Z beef. It is too close to be considered a coincidence to me…especially since a couple of months ago he had Cassie on the air and completely humiliated her! So much to the point that the Bad Boy assistant who was there to facilitate the discussion between the two was fired for not helping Cassie sound halfway intelligent on air. He was at first annoying but he helped breath some life into that show. He was not a kiss ass & said the things Wendy wouldn’t. Plus he kept her up to date with the latest Hip Hop news. Its because of reasons like this that the industry sucks! TOO MUCH ASS KISSING AND NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE KEEPING IT REAL.

I’m so sorry, but Charlamagne is my dude and I miss him and Wendy together desperately. Yeah he comes hard, but he keeps it real without fear. That Philly station is full of punks. First that let Wendy go, then they let Money Luv go for her terrible outburst with Jeezy and now this. They really don’t stand behind their jocks at all. Charlamagne is still my dude.

I don’t think 50 gets enough credit. He is a great business man. & he came in this game as a nobody and took out one of the biggest stars at that time. Jay Z is the one who gets too much credit IMO. People act as if he can do no wrong no matter how many people speak out.
Radio people have no love for their workers. This is not about blaming Sean it just so happen that Char was fired following the interview that has caused a stir in Jay’s life. Just like Puffy got Wendy fired from shot 97 when spoke out on him being gay. But I really am done with the Jay Z convo. All this drama is giving him free press & putting more $ in his pockets so why should a defend or defame him for free.

Its so funny you say that bc I was talking with someone this morning b4 all this came out. Does the Fcc even run the radio anymore. They curse like sailors to no end on morning radio. Steve Harvey show (even though I love the strawberry letter) is always sexual in nature. Its as if they either don’t issue out fines or they startrd to allow certain content on the airs.

At noon Friday, after playing Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road,” R&B/rap radio station KATZ-FM (100.3 the Beat) became Halloween 100.3, and debuted with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” followed by songs such as the theme to “Halloween,” White Zombie’s “I’m Your Boogeyman,” and the Cranberries’ “Zombie.”
The change in format, which may have something to do with the fact WHHL-FM (Hot 104.1) had been beating the Beat in the ratings, caught everyone off guard. As in customary in radio, the Beat jocks didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to their listeners on air.
Many of them turned to Facebook to have their say. Here are some of their Facebook status updates since the firings, unedited:

In all honesty, Beanie didn’t dis Jay in his interview with Jonesy. He pretty much sounded like his feelings were hurt because Jay is out for self, in his opinion. He said, and Jonesy confirmed that Jay had the local police and feds escort him out the building. They even tried to escort Miss Jones out with him at first because they thought that she was with Beanie and his crew cuz she was talking to them. He said that one of the pple that escorted him out was one is PO’s when he was on probation with Feds. He also said that when he went to court for parole a few years back, the judge asked Jay would he vouch for Beans. The judge would have let him out to go on tour with the Roc but Jay said no and they locked Beans back up.
The interview was pretty much like that the entire time. He gave a bunch examples of how selfish he feels Jay is and how it f***ed him up. To sum it up, he said that Jay is no different from Diddy…lol.
