The Nobel prize committee displayed hypocrisy at its highest today when presenting US president Barack Obama with his Nobel peace prize. Obama accepted the peace prize a week after ordering 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan to fight a war that nobody cares about.

“I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great hypocrisy humility,” said Obama in Oslo, Norway today. “It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations – that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.”
