Yesterday I received an email blast with a link to an article in Julia Beverly’s Hip Hop rag Ozone magazine accusing local philanthropist and industry veteran Debra Antney of using Gucci Mane’s name to scam promoters out of $100K.

I know Debra Antney personally and she has done nothing but great things for the underprivileged children in our community. For years she has worked tirelessly on the children’s behalf by organizing charity events without seeking press coverage or kudos for her efforts.

As an artist manager and CEO of Gucci’s So Icey Records, Antney helps guide the careers of Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj and OJ Da Juiceman.

On the other hand, Julia Beverly’s name has come up numerous times over the years attached to one scam after another. If you’re not familiar with Julia Beverly, click HERE and HERE.

Julia Beverly has a lot of nerve casting dispersions or throwing shade on anyone’s business dealings as dirty as she is. Julia comes off as a broke, racist, bitter little hag whose magazine empire is crumbling down around her. So now she’s lashing out at the ones she feels are responsible for her demise.

Julia Beverly has for years used the Hip Hop community for her own financial gains and has been accused of ripping off many up and coming artists by charging them under the table for exposure in her wack magazine that nobody reads. Her reputation is so tarnished that she was forced to cancel her Hip Hop conference this year because no one will attend.

After the break is a letter from publisher and blogger Isis Wisdom of Word On The Streets, who clears up any rumors or innuendos of her involvement in Julia Beverly’s smear campaign against established industry veterans Debra Antney and Johnnie Cabbell.

The only reason why I’m taking the time out to address this foolishness is because I think people just forgot how to think. Sorry Julie, nice try on the ning network but due to me beefing with you for at least 6 years everybody that has a sound right mind knows that I would never cosign anything that you write. You are just as dumb as the people believing in your bullshit. I guess like attracts like.

For the record, if you have received an email blast from a website called element9.ning.com from me or DJ Xplosive, it is not us. We never created the network nor did we cosign Julie and her simple tired ass non fact based lack of proof ass article about Gucci Mane’s management. I spoke to a few people whose names were mentioned in her article and under no circumstance did they wish to be brought into her mess. Hence phone calls of explaining her disposition. I got 4 words about the article she sent out. Show me the facts. Where are the contracts? Where is the paperwork of the so called lawsuits? What courts are they filed in? Julie is annoying and working way too hard to clear her name. Your credibiity is shot sweet heart and the harder you work the guiltier you look.

This is another classic case of a sad individual who needs as much co-signing as possible to give her any credibility. She just has not figured out that the negativity that spews from her being, is what
puts her at odds with so many people. I ain’t never met a person in my life that has had the amount of beef that she has had in the short period of time that she has had her infamous photo album. Then you have blind industry people cosigning her. You need to be more careful about who and what you co-sign and use that brain of yours and start critically thinking. Oops I forgot maybe it’s true that maybe people in hip-hop are just too dumbed down and too stupid to see what is going on.

The girl sent out the blast from her email acct, then ozone email acct, and then the ning network as well as Wendy Day all within 5 to 10 minutes of each other. Are you serious? Hello? Do you have a brain? Do you use it? You don’t find that kind of odd that I would cosign an article on a site with no traffic and no members??? SMDH! No facts just a bunch of quotes and accusations??? Please, the art of real journalism died in hip-hop a long time ago. It is ever so prevalent now more then ever, and people are getting dumber by the day and she capitalizes off of your lack of intelligence to get by. It certainly says a lot about how she thinks about the hip-hop community doesn’t it?

Remember y’all did this. You supported her and now look at the buffoonery.

Another thing: please never try to play me like I’m afraid to be held accountable to my words. I think anybody with any common sense knows that if I have something to say I’m going to tell you how I feel and then put you on blast. So please don’t approach me on no dumb high school shit. DJ Xplosive from element9hiphop.com did not partake in any ning network. He don’t even deal with ning. If you see his identity on any networks don’t believe the hype. If you see my identity on any ning network it will be mixxbosses.com and Core DJs and I have been on those sites for a while. Check the dates please.

Ask yourself this: how is it the two credible writers that blasted her ass a month ago would now all of a sudden co-sign her? HAAAAAAAA, Haaaaaaa haaaaaa NOW THAT IS SOME FUNNY SHIT! BUT THE JOKE IS ON YALL!
