Rapper Drake’s new leading lady in his “Over” video is British singer Rita Ora, a new artist on Jay Z’s Rock Nation label. Rita hails from Kosovo, and her blond hair and light skin will surely place her in tight competition with Beyonce when her album drops. And Bey’s hubby Jay Z has has already taken this beauty under his wing as he did with Rihanna before she blew up.
The only difference between Rita and Beyonce (other than the fact that Rita’s hair is real) is the fact that Rita can blow. I mean, she can sing, and that’s a compliment coming from me.
Expect to hear a LOT about Rita in the coming months. I, for one, can appreciate the fact that Rita’s vocals don’t make my ears bleed like Beyonce’s warbling and screeching does. I guess the only question left to ask is can Rita dance, and is it necessary for her to be able to roll across a stage effortlessly if she can really blow?

She definitely can sing, which these days (unfortunately) doesn’t mean she will blow up. Hopefully if enough good singerss come out or at least ok singers with good songs the music industry will turn around for the better.

She is pretty, but prettiness comes a dime a dozen these days. To make it in the industry today you have to be a performer not just be able to sing. You have to have the looks, have to be able to sing so so, but ultimitely be a performer.

this girl sounds like joss stone who annoys me b/c joss is ALWAYS trying to force her voice to sound soulful. it doesn’t sound like natural singing. this girl sounds better than joss though b/c she doesn’t force the soul as much but she definitely does do it a little
i think it’s funny that you hate bee’s voice so much when any singing coach will tell you that she has amazing control. i’m around a lot of singers (they are friends) and even the ones who don’t like bee’s music or style will give her props on her voice b/c she has amazing technique apparently. they all agree that right now, out of all of the young singers, only ppl like jazmine can give bee a run for her money. jazmine can SANG. this girl is plain average
