John Travolta and Kelly Preston Are Expecting; Mariah is Not

“We tried for several years, and we didn’t think it was going to happen for us,” the couple tell PEOPLE in an exclusive story in this week’s issue.

Their daughter Ella Bleu, 10, also reacted with joy. “This is a miracle, and we feel blessed,” Travolta, 56, and Preston, 47, say.

Those close to the family, meanwhile, denounce speculation the couple are trying to “replace” son Jett, who died last year at age 16, with a new baby. A family friend says, “They can never replace him” and that the couple “always wanted to have more kids.”

Meanwhile, Nick Cannon denies his wife Mariah is pregnant via his Twitter page.

Celine’s husband was sick many yrs ago. They stored some fluids to have more kids after her Vegas stint was over. She suffered a miscarriege a couple of yrs ago. There have been many women over the course of decades who have a baby in their 40’s but all of them I know already had grown kids. I do beleive these celebs are using IVF or Fertility drugs.

In AOL.com, there’s an article about a Texas black man winning 1.5 million for a bill collector’s harassing calls.(Advanced Call Center Technologies) They left messages calling him ni@@er and a no-good cotton pickin’ mofo!!! They say he owed them a whopping $200, which he denied. Well, he’ll get paid BIG TIME! And they say racism is dead in America. I had my last two when I was 32 and 34. my other children where teens. That was what the Lord had planned for me so who am I to mess with His plans. I’m pretty sure that Mariah is waiting until she is over her first 3 months. To each his own. I just pray that they have healthy babies and that they are healthy.

I gave birth for the first time at 41. It was a wonderful experience, my husband pampered me the whole time, even did the late night krispy kreme runs. I think God for the experience….but I don’t want to do it again because we will be 59 when he graduates from high school. Even though he has 10 brothers and sisters ahead of him (5 adopted, 5 step)I want to be around to be able to raise my children and not so tired that I can’t enjoy it.

She’s adorable though! I know a lot of people who’ve had the “change of life” pregnancy. Hey, I applaud you all. I’ve come to the conclusion years ago that I was not spitting out another one. Period, point blank! Once my daughter and son are out of the house and off to college, I plan on getting IT IN! you hear me!!!! All of the things I wanted to do and go but I couldn’t because I was putting my children and obligations first, I’m doing it all. Mama gotta have a life too

I think that we all want to have the birth experience, some people for one reason or another put it off, or in my case are not able to. So for a woman who maybe childless, it’s one thing. But I think one should really consider your age and the child’s quality of life. If I would have had my first child 10-15 years ago, then a second one may have been an option. I don’t know if I could do it again…but I have taken steps to avoid it. What do you guys think?

They said if you’re not getting it from a local dr and being monitored closely by a dr then you’re taking a huge risk

Thanks ggouch. and Sawwy Brown. I gave in.Color wouldn’t stay on my natuaral hair and i tried everything. I’m 37 with 2 toddlers and 2 teenagers. My son graduates HS next year. My head is totally grey if I don’t color it. I’m not ready for that.It only stays on my permed hair, go figure.

Some women put it off for their careers and find it difficult to get pregnant with age. As soon as you think you are done getting that last kid out the house they are only making way for grandbabies.
