Rapper 50 Cent will never be considered a serious actor. His recent sudden weight loss for a movie role was nothing but a bullsh*t PR stunt. His entire career is a PR stunt, which is why it’s failing now. 50 Cent’s latest stunt got us all talking because the fake, Photoshopped pics looked so dramatic. He wants us to believe he gained all that weight back in a matter of days. Those of you who remember how thin the rapper Cam’Ron was years ago, will recall that it took him months to return to his normal weight.
He’s so sexy to me! Yeah, I said it!
Actually Sandra, PR stunt or not, 50 is a pretty good actor and he gets great roles among A listers. His movies are anything but “State Property” or “Waist Deep” or any other movies typical to rappers. You can hate 50 all you want but his hustle is flawless and he is gonna make some moves in film as he already has.

Nope. Jay is a result of Kanye West producing talent (and half the time rapping talent) and also constantly rapping about New York so they will continously by his new garbage.
He is one of the most overrated figures in any profession of all time.

Yup. 50 is a better rapper. Not that it is saying much because the majority of rappers out there today are superior to Jay:
Lil Wayne, Kanye, T.I., Eminem, Soulja Boy, Nas, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj
The list goes on and on.
BUT, 50 has shown when he has a strong producer on his chit it is slightly above average.

“Themselves” as in “they” (meaning the rappers) are the primary person behind the deal. I’m sure there were multiple people involved and the celebrities had the assistance of those with experience and specific knowledge/job skills.
The point is 50 hustled these things up (I’ll let you decide to what degree he did this) as opposed to living off the brain of someone else (as Jay did with Damon Dash).

Well if Rachel used Dame to get where she is then his business chops must be real. At any rate, there isn’t a single business move that can solely be attributed to Jay Z. HE even admits his signing of Kanye was out of business move forced by Kanye himself. Jay Z might have a lot of people fooled but I’m not buying it.
I agree, Puff, Jermaine Dupri and Suge Knight (the only difference with 50 and Suge is that Suge doesn’t rap) paved the way for 50. Just like Russel Simmons paved the way for them and Barry Gordy for Russel Simmons. That’s how business works. Trying to “ruin” the careers of others is rapping 101. That’s how it’s always been.

Yup, 50’s best album to date was produced by Dr. Dre. SURPRISING….not. It was a classic too. Give 50 some decent tracks and producers and Jay Z doesn’t even want to be on the same track because he knows he can’t compare.
Yeah, Jay’s biggest selling album might have been before Kanye, but that was also before internet downloading became as popular as it has. The only reason he has remained relevant and contiuned to be a good seller (by today’s standards) are because of Kanye and his “representation” of Nu Yawk. That’s IT.
Ladies and Gents, my frat brother confirmed that 50 did lose a ton of weight. He said when he saw him on the set he did not look like himself at all. So for verification purposes the film was shot in Grand Rapids, MI last month. 50 likes shooting in Grand Rapids because people don’t bother him here (Black folks are not as plentiful in Grand Rapids as they are elsewhere). When he is here he works out at the East Hills Athletic Club … so Sandra he’s not a fraud!

i felt the same way about the weight gain until i read that he started eating again on May 1st. He is probably taking lots of protein shakes, eating high calorie foods and working out. i can believe he put the weight back in within a month. i have a male relative who had slimmed down and decided to bulk back up and with in a month he was huge again. So i just have to go with his word on this. the man gets to much hate as it is. Oh and how did ugly a$$ Jay Z get into this topic lol
