For those of you who missed last night’s episode of ‘Chelsea Lately’, the comedian goes in on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ cast member Phaedra Parks who dares to mention her BFF 50 Cent.
Chelsea — who many in the black community believes is an undercover racist — grills Phaedra for opting out of performing such motherly duties as breast feeding and burping her newborn baby.
Apparently, Chelsea isn’t aware that Phaedra is working off of a script.
“Hey, moron!,” says Chelsea. “You’re not giving birth to a Cabbage Patch kid!” Chelsea notes that Phaedra is an attorney who is married to an ex-con. “Sounds to me like she’s living the African American dream!,” she says.

Sometimes Chelsea is funny but the comment about living “The African American” dream isn’t. I wouldn’t go as far as saying she’s a racist or anything however she should exercise more tact when on TV. I’m just worried about the perception is all….
I’ve never cared for Chelsea Handler’s sense of humor nor her masculine ass face and body. Chelsea is not a mother, so how can she judge somebody’s parenting style.

Do you have uninsured coverage on your policy? My sis is in tx and someone hit her who did not have coverage, since she had that endorsement on her policy it lowered her deductible by half…lad u are ok and dont feel sorry for ol dude…yall have NO idea ho many folks have no insurance! If you was more inches for your $$$ with with plasma…BUT BE WARNED
plasma TVs “burn in” real eazy…and dont last as long. also they tend to have a blurness with fast movements (action movies and games)
My recommendation is grab a nice 42″-46″ LCD TV. You will spend a little more but your overall experience will be so much better.

I will tell you what is racist. I like to read fashion magazines. Vogue, Marie Claire, Glamour, Flare, Harper’s Bazarre, etc. I never noticed until I started visiting SR, but now every time I open the front of the magazine I play a game. It’s called “spot the black woman”. Never once do I find one. Maybe sometimes they throw one in with light black skin if it’s a group shot but the high fashion ads and makeup ads never have a black woman featured. That is racist and I used to work with a lot of african ladies and showed one who I was pretty chummy with and pointed out that there was never any black ladies in the advertisements. She was just like, “Yeah, they don’t like us”.

I totaly agree!! I dont understand why everyone is getting so upset by what she said. I thought it was funny as hell. I think we as black people have gotten too damn sensitive when it comes to race.
