Rapper Lil Wayne, who shares his brethren’s fondness for light skinned, long hair women, has sparked controversy with his lyrics directed toward dark-skinned women.
A loyal reader left this comment in one of my posts:
@GENIA
“Sandra, please please please share your views regarding Lil Wayne’s “alleged” statement regarding Dark-skinned women, in which he supposedly quoted a line from one of his tracks in response to a darkskinned (now formerly…I hope) fan: “Beautiful Black Woman i bet that b*tch look better red”.When it was supposedly pointed out by this fan that his daughter is dark-skinned, he allegedly stated: “my daughter is a dark skin millionaire that’s the difference between her and u”.
WTF! Please tell me you are not going to let the day go by and not speak up on this.”
I’m going to go ahead and call this what it is: a desperate publicity stunt. Weezy has definitely fallen off since his release from prison late last year. No one is checking for him right now. He needs controversy to get people talking about him again.
Just ignore him, and maybe he will go away.
