Rapper The Game’s pockets will be a little lighter soon. The 31-year-old father of 3 was ordered to pay his cousin $50,000 in damages resulting from an assault that occurred during his sister’s funeral in Los Angeles in 2008.
The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, reportedly disagreed with his share of the funeral costs for his sister Shannon Johnson. A verbal argument escalated into a brawl involving The Game, his cousin Robert ‘Kirky’ Kirkwood, and other family members at the funeral home.
The Game was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
According to court documents, Kirkwood claimed he suffered “severe and permanent injuries” as a result of the altercation. He sought $50,000 in compensation for his medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering.
Last night, The Game joined troubled singer chris brown, right, in a late night studio session for brown’s long-awaited fourth studio CD F.A.M.E.
I’m first.
SMH! how sad…does EVERYTHING always have to turn into a fight. I feel so sorry for those that have broken relationships with family members…*can’t stop SMH*
LOVING FATHER BY DAY AND STRAIGHT GANGSTER BY NITE
Those 3 look ripe for America’s Most Wanted: The Juvenile Edition. The middle dude looks like The P.I.M.P. Must be the gang leader. Next!!
Why would people fight over money at a funeral? That was his sister. Family can be worst than enemies sometimes
No need to feel sorry for the Game. His whole life reads like a rap sheet. Guilty as charged.
The Game has some cute kids
Sandra are you troubled?
you didn’t have to add Chris in there. that was mean, Sandy.
Somebody need to slap those glasses off of mechanical dummy’s face ASAP!
Its sad but his family probably did try and get more money out of him since he has it, but the funeral was not the time and place to discuss such matters.
Good Morning…..
Sandra it’s 2011, please let the CB thing go already!
