Rapper The Game’s pockets will be a little lighter soon. The 31-year-old father of 3 was ordered to pay his cousin $50,000 in damages resulting from an assault that occurred during his sister’s funeral in Los Angeles in 2008.

The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, reportedly disagreed with his share of the funeral costs for his sister Shannon Johnson. A verbal argument escalated into a brawl involving The Game, his cousin Robert ‘Kirky’ Kirkwood, and other family members at the funeral home.

The Game was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

According to court documents, Kirkwood claimed he suffered “severe and permanent injuries” as a result of the altercation. He sought $50,000 in compensation for his medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering.

Last night, The Game joined troubled singer chris brown, right, in a late night studio session for brown’s long-awaited fourth studio CD F.A.M.E.
