Atlantic Records is at the forefront of changes in the music industry from violent, misogynistic rap to real Hip Hop and dance-oriented music. The record label has assembled a winning roster of risk-taking artists that they believe will change the game.
Black History Month honors those individuals who took risks and by doing so, changed the course of history. Following that same tradition, Atlantic Records salutes Black History Month, year round with artists whose musical passion will forever leave an imprint in Black History. That being said, we proudly present B.o.B, Janelle Monae, Lupe Fiasco and Estelle… The Game Changers.
Hosted by Danyel Smith, Editor-in-Chief for Billboard magazine.
Yay!!!!! I finally got a username. Now I can stop lurking so much. Hi everybody!!!!!
Estelle looks TOTALLY different when her pic is taken face forward. I hardly recognized her.
I do like Estelle and B.o.B. I’d have to actually listen to the others to form an opinion
That’s nice they are showcasing them since we’ve been getting watered down bull scrappy the rest of the year.
Estelle looks ridiculous in that picture #ThatIsAll
Ohh and love Janelle. I really do, but the sides of head are beginning to bald. Maybe she should let hair down for a couple of months
Good for them…..
Does anyone else see that dog-human ad below this post? It may not be real but
That brillo pad on the top of Jenelle Monae’s head is growing
Estelle looks like she’s playing hip hop dress-up in that pic

Tyra Banks
Chili (she’s still in denial by using the baby hair as a cover up)
Just to name a few….

Oh and I totally agree with them being the GAME CHANGERS
I like Janelle Monae. Good Afternoon Everyone
I’m not a big rap fan (never have been) I’ve always been the nerdy rap kind of person, I liked the “safe” stuff that your mama and grandmama like, “Baby, play that “Parents just dont’ understand” thang again.” LMAO
I was all up and THROUGH a Hammer & Kid and Play CD’s back in the day. *I’m so ashamed of that fact right there*, but oddly, I really like Lupe and B.O.B. – go figure.
I like all of them. Not sure why Estelle is wearing those glasses because not every can pull off that look.
Hello Clark Kent
i love b.o.b he got that swager and he can also get it from me
WHY does Estelle look like Missy (now that she is skinny) in that pic?

i love Janelle Monae! always unique and such a great singer. i met her way back in her AUC days and even back then i knew that she would be a star. at that time she had a lauryn hill thing going on, but i can appreciate that she changed it up and has found her own grove!

… Hey PROBEs you doing alright today?
wassup @ChaCha

Do any of you have “work spouses”? These are the signs they say you should look for:
• You and a co-worker share information you would only tell a spouse, like personal details about yourself that you don’t share with other colleagues.
• You confide in them more than anyone else at your office about work issues.
• You spend a lot of time with them, almost as much time as you do with your spouse.
what up fam Bam!
The should make music that is appealing to the broader audience, like Lauren Hill did.. THEN you could call them the game changers…I barely even know who those people are, let alone what song they sing.
@KWall
@PRob What’s good witcha bruh?! yeah I heard about her in the AUC..she’s cool tho!
I don’t have a work spouse but several of my co workers do

I consider those two alternative rap. There is nothing threatening about them at all. I used to like Lupe when he first came out. Was never into B.O.B.
