No matter how highly Alicia Keys thinks of herself, she isn’t a big enough star to grace the cover of GLAMOUR magazine by herself. The gangsta B-list singer, who used to wear a gold AK47 rifle on a chain around her neck, shares the October 2011 cover with A-list actresses Demi Moore (Ashton’s wife), and Jennifer Aniston.
On why her time in Egypt (the country) inspired her to create a baby:
“It was a time of transition. There were certain people [I was working with] who weren’t right. I had friends who weren’t right anymore. I was tired and I had overworked myself and burnt myself out. So I went to Egypt by myself. When I saw what was built there, it made me understand how powerful we are, that we can create anything. And I felt like I needed to create things that were timeless too.” Source
