I honestly feel you are always hateful whenever something about Anderson Cooper comes up, What makes you think that his personal life is for the world to hear? Who cares about coming out? its his life, does he have to show off his boyfriend or girlfriend for you to be satisfied…this brings me to the question, why does the public feel they are entitled to be addressed by someone on their personal life? You Sandra, need a chill Pill, I am close friend of Anderson and people like you piss us off.
I know him and his bf, we met at a New Orleans oyster bar while they were covering the BP spill. He’s definitely NOT closeted… but the subject did come up, and his very simple response was that he feels it doesn’t have anything to do with work, so he just doesn’t bring his personal life? to the forefront during such. Makes sense, and that’s his choice to make. But that mean he’s closeted? No, it just means his personal life has nothing to do with his work so he shuts up about, there are alot of straight men who dont talk about their personal life either, so stop naggin gay men to come out. You need to sit yo Ass down woman.
SR responds:
Yes, some things are obvious such as the color of one’s skin. But that doesn’t stop President Barack Obama from proudly proclaiming himself to be a Black man.
Cooper frequently mentions the suicide rate of depressed gay teens on his program AC360. Imagine how his coming out would inspire and motivate those teens.
