One of the silliest reality TV shows on American television is Fox’s ‘X Factor USA’. The reality show bills itself as a talent competition, but where’s the talent?
13-year-old Rachel Crow learned the hard way that these shows are more about dramatics and TV ratings than actual talent. During the Top 5 performances show, she went up against singer Marcus Canty singing a stirring rendition of Ella Fitzgerald’s “I’d Rather Go Blind”. But as these reality shows always go, the producers already know who they want in the finals.
Rachel’s dramatic crying act was almost completely devoid of actual tears. But the worst actress award of the night goes to judge Nicole Scherzinger who was given the task of eliminating Crow or Marcus Canty — or sending the decision to the American voters. Nicole is such a horrible actress that she gave away the answer even before presenter Steve Jones said it.
Pretending to be flustered by the enormity of the task, Nicole gasped “I can’t, I cant make this decision… please, I can’t make this decision. I love and adore both of you both.” Bish, it’s your job to make the decision! That’s why you were picked as a judge! Nicole’s phony act sent her trending worldwide on Twitter.com as users went IN on her — and rightfully so.
As ex-ANTM judge Janice Dickinson already informed us: these shows are so fake. If America was truly voting, there’s no way Crow would have been sent home because she was simply the better act last night. As a singer, Marcus Canty is just average.

Fake or not, the show is pretty good. I have to agree about that all of this is rigged, but if it calls for bigger ratings and more viewers, it is what it is. The same way Astro got signed with jay is the same way this little girl will get a deal for sure. If it was about real talent I don’t that either of them should have been in the bottom two. The one that raps although I like his background of recovery, he dosen’t always sound so good to me and the rocker guy, well yeah, that’s all I got for him he is way too one dimensional for me…
As with most “celebrities”, I liked Nicole better the less I saw/heard of her outside of her chosen field. She should have kept her day job.

I understand where you are coming from…..but I doubt highly that your daughter throws temper tantrums when the outcome did not go the way she expected it. I do agree that it it buils character and sportsmanship, but when you are balling outta control OR throwing temper tantrums in front of judges of these so called competitions, that’s when I have a problem w/it. Parents really need to make sure their children understand that they just may not be the winner this time and that’s okay…..there’s always next time. But if you look @ shows like Toddler’s and Tiara’s, the parents be just as pissed as the kids do.

As far as makeup is concerned, my recommendation is to #1 PLAY PLAY PLAY!
Take that time out in the bathroom mirror and play w/makeup. See what works well for and see what does not. I always played in makeup so I knew that I could go from light to dark rather easy. I just started out by putting it on lightly, making sure I blended it in. If I got a little heat in the azz, I would just simply make it darker. If you are trying to apply an eyeshadow, my recommendation is to have an eye primer. Apply that first (no rubbing it in but spreading it like an eyeshadow), let it dry and then adding the eyeshadow on top. It will make the eyeshadow pop and the last longer. Also, I would recommend using actual eyeshadow brushes. While Sephora & MAC have great ones, I do understand that those tend to get rather expensive, so I would start out w/the brushes from like CVS. They have great ones. Last but not least, HAVE FUN, don’ be afraid of color. Confidence equals great makeup!

As far as makeup, I’m rather particular and if I find something I like, I stick w/it.
I don’t necessarily believe that you have to spend a ton of money for makeup for it to look good. If you know what you’re doing, it’ll come out the same.
Face – I only use MAC Mineralize SkinFinish. It’s light and flawless. It is $14.50 but hell, Covergirl dayum near runs $13
Eyeshadow – I use BH Cosmetics….You can buy palettes for the low-low and have every color you want at once…NOT HAVING TO GO BACK OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO PURCHASE! bhcosmetics (dot)com
Eyeliner – I only use liquid and the cheap kind. I find it goes on darker and last longer. Don’t fugg w/the water proof tho. You’ll be looking like a raccoon.
Mascara – I’ve been rocking Rimmel Lash Accelerator. I have midget lashes and it makes them pop. I only fugg w/Extreme Black
Lips – NOW, I ONLY USE MAC PRODUCTS ON MY LIPS. They have gorgeous colors and I learned a new trick a while back. All of their lip stuff are made w/the same pigments they make their eyeshadows with. Soooo, if you feel like getting freaky-deaky dutch on them lips, you can buy a pigment & then add a small amount of clear lipglass and VOILA….lips on deck fo’days, bew!
