In Case You Missed It: Love & Hip Hop, Ep 6

On Monday night, VH1 aired the much-anticipated “fight” between newcomer Erica Mena and Juelz Santana’s bustdown, Kimbella Vanderhee. As with Kimbella, Erica was introduced to the cast by Jim Jones’ manager, Yandy Smith, aka Don King. It is no coincidence that both women immediately began snatching wigs within 5 minutes of meeting each other.

By now we are all familiar with how these “reality” shows work. Each show has totally scripted “fight” scenes that usually commences when one cast member tosses water on the other one.

But according to Erica, her fight scene may not have been totally scripted. In fact, Erica claims that she was caught completely by surprise, and she thinks she was set up by VH1.

The 24-year-old told TMZ.com that VH1 may have “torpedoed” her burgeoning “modeling” career by staging the fight which jacked up her face.

“My whole image in my career is now affected by this. I wanted them to pull this clip because I don’t want to show this side of me,” she said. Welcome to the wacky world of reality TV, hun!

But why did Yandy look just like Prince in ‘Purple Rain’ with the mustache and everything?

This is how Kimbella looked before the hair pulling. As you can see, her own hair is pulled back and safely tucked into a ponytail clip on hairpiece.

And this is Kimbella after the fight. Not much of a difference, right?

Yandy was of course in the middle of the mess, laughing her azz off. If you have a friend like Yandy you are a poor judge of character.
