Black Hollywood’s favorite couple Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union grace the cover of February 2012 issue of ESSENCE magazine. The NBA star met the sultry actress while he was still married to, Siohvaughn Funches. Gabby caught a lot of flack from NBA groupies and others who objected to her home wrecking. But the reality of the situation was that the love was gone in Funches and Wade’s marriage by the time Gabby worked her feminine wiles on him.
On the subject of marriage, Wade said:

Dwyane Wade’s 8 year marriage to his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn came to an end in 2010 and Gabrielle Union was married for 5 years to Jacksonville Jaguars running back, Chris Howard. Their marriage ended in April of 2006.

@therapist1911; All I’m saying is that there used to be a STANDARD that was set and followed; as an example, I don’t care what everyone else dictates any man that is interested in pursuing a relationship with me must practice supreme personal hygiene and I’m sure that you have a standards for females that you may be interested in. A married man (even if he is separated) that flaunts his girlfriend before the divorce petition is even drawn up and submitted is just cruel and doesn’t care about anyone elses feelings. It isn’t right just because everyone else does it.
I’m just offended that some of us act like we don’t have standards anymore. It seems that whatever is being done this week or whatever attitude is being taken by the majority is ‘ok’. This is all strictly my opinion.
I wish all couples the best, regardless of the situation. I’m a married women and I would hate for my hubby to leave me for another. If that ever happened I can’t walk around sticking up my Ceily fingers at them, I can only believe love will find me again and even greater. It would hurt like hell but I know the man I married and if he left, it would be because HE choose to do so. No matter the woman and circumstances, men will do what they want. Just as women will do what they want. If I left my hubby today, it doesn’t matter the circumstances regarding me leaving. I can say, he made me leave but the truth is I made me leave. The whole waiting on a couples demise, because of it’s foundation is so old news. Couples who start of of shady shaky grounds DO win in this world. It is just a reality, plain and simple. They get together and they BOTH make an effort to make it work, and Most of those relationships are working. So you will grow old waiting on Karma to get folks! I have learned and lived long enough to know, sometimes it just isn’t so! I wish no ill feelings on anyone, it’s not worth it. When you do that this Karma that folks wait on is at YOUR front door!
