Royce Reed Tweets Photo of Dwight Howard’s Son in Bed With Her Man

Now I can see why Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard went ballistic on his crazy baby mama and took her to court. She is very disrespectful! No man — not even Superman — would be happy with the idea of his seed in bed with another man.

Royce Reed had the Internet buzzing yesterday when she tweeted the above photo of her current man, Dezmon Briscoe, wide receiver for the Tampa Buccaneers, curled up in bed with her son, Braylon Howard.

Even if Royce is crazy — Dezmon should know better than to disrespect another man like that. I’m sure Braylon has his own bed to sleep in. And even if Dezmon does occasionally curl up with the kid, he shouldn’t let his girl tweet photos of him. Am I wrong?

Merely having a picture of your child sleeping with the new love in your life won’t hold water in court. The judge won’t even entertain that petty mess. Is is tacky? Yes. But frankly, she is the primary custodian so there’s more time for her son to spend with her new man and this is likely to happen if the two of them get along well. Her advertising is another story but not one that will necessary do anything to her in a court of law.

I see how the image of this pic. can go both ways but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s wrong. My “step dad” who is my father in my eyes took care of me from the age of 3. I’m almost 30 now and my biological father is just trying to fall back into my life. With that being said, would a picture of him cuddling me at that same age, the same way dude is cuddling the boy in the pic., be wrong? True, they aren’t married but when my mom first met my father they weren’t married until I was about 5 or 6 and my dad had been taking care of me from day one. I see the picture as being relatively innocent. Would I have posted it on Twitter? No. This is coming from the same chic who thinks Twitter is a bunch of bull anyway and doesn’t have a Twitter or Facebook account so my opinion might not be the best one to take on that part of it. All in all I don’t think it’s the worst thing in the world or the worst thing she could be exposing her son too. Now, all of these kids being exposed to mommy jumping in the bed with every Tom, Dick, and Harry, calling every ni**a that comes over to the house her “friend” or making the kids call them uncle is what’s inappropriate. My BD doesn’t have a relationship with my daughter due to his choice to not be a parent. I respect his wishes but I also told him that will bite his in the ass later in life. She doesn’t have a negative picture of him but it will be different if he ever decides to parent. I am like the best BM ever. He told me at 4 months that he didn’t want to be a parent. I don’t think it’s the worst thing in the world. I’ve been in this situation. My step dad who is my biological father in my heart loved me so deeply. He never molested me, never did wrong by me and ALWAYS took care of me. He loves me like my biological father, the man who created me, wouldn’t even understand. For those reasons I don’t see the wrongness in this. NOW, who knows how long this relationship will or won’t last but let’s say they get married and stay together for 20 years (as my parents have done). Then is it wrong? I would like to think that Royce see’s this man as being in her and her child’s life for the long haul and if that’s what it is then I don’t see how something as trivial as this is to be so wrong. I’m not in Royce’s head so who knows what she’s thinking and doing but that one picture is not enough for me to bash her. Putting it on Twitter is a bit much for me but who am I to judge it? Really, some folks bottom line can’t deal with certain things. People think that for some reason because a new person is on the scene, they are no longer that child’s parent. WRONG!!!!Children will quickly tell you, you ain’t my momma/daddy. So you could never replace bio parent, but maybe the undercurrent here is feeling like someone is trying to replace you or parent better than you. Mature people would make sure the other parent knew who was going to be a permanent fixture in the childs life and foster some” sort” of relationship so there is a level of comfort there. Then a picture like this would not be received so negatively

I keep overlooking Royce’s sh*t and giving her the benefit of the doubt, but I’m done. She done went too far this time. We all know the heffa ain’t been with a man for more than 5 minutes in her life. How long she been with this dude she got all laid up with her son? If they were married I wouldn’t be mad at this pic, but disrespecting the child’s father like this with some fly by night boyfriend is just too much.

We need to schedule a prayer vigil in the hopes the Lord will bless this child with a brain that works properly.

I don’t see anything wrong with the pic and I wouldn’t judge Royce based off seeing her with dudes on BBW. For all I know, those dudes could be “fillers” like T. Marie, someone bought in just to give a story line. Also, although I don’t really follow Dwight and Royce, from things i’ve read in the past, i’ve always gotten the impression that Dwight was never too involved with this kid. As far as the pic, it’s not like her man has lil buddy pressed to his chest and how can someone say it was unsupervised or act like dude was touching him inappropriately when apparently Royce or someone was in the room or how else would she have gotten the pic to began with?

Some of y’all got me feeling guilty for dating (not sleeping with) 5 guys within a year or two. We have no proof all of these men have even met her child.

I think your baby’s daddy is correct. You don’t have to do everything yo mama’s boyfriend tells you to do. And the child is correct: he isn’t his daddy.

Children have to be protected and if some adult is doing or saying something to them that doesn’t feel right or is incorrect; the caretaker’s in their lives had better have their back. His father was only trying to protect him or her the only way he knew how in a situation where he is not present all of the time.
