Savannah Brinson shows off her diamond ring

Less than 24 hours after accepting LeBron James’ proposal, Savannah Brinson sat at courtside in the American Airlines Arena watching her man’s team, the Miami Heat, rout the hapless Charlotte Bobcats 129-90. Savannah, mother of LeBron’s two boys, showed off her sparkling, heart shaped 10 carat ring to friends and fans during the game. She was overwhelmed with joy after waiting 8 years for LeBron to pop the question.

Meanwhile, on the court, it was easy to see that LeBron’s mind was elsewhere. He scored only 1 point in the first quarter. But James picked his game up in the 2nd half to finish with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

Aw! Beautiful ring, looks like Elizabeth Taylor’s favorite diamond. I remember reading she had used this diamond during three of her weddings.

I dated my husband for 9 years before we were married. 5 of them were in college though. I wasn’t rushing because I wanted to have a stable career and be financially ready. Cause love don’t/can’t pay not one bill. I think their timetable is perfect. They are young and they met in high school. Yea she does have the 2 kids but I think they needed to wait until he was ready. It is pointless to do it just cause we been dating so long and have this many kids. They woulda been Kim K or somedamnbody. Getting divorced in half a year.
The ring is big but it looks old fashioned to me. Anywhoo, congrats to the happy couple!!!!

I disagree @mrs. How do you know she didnt tell him that was her dream proposal. How do you know she didnt tell him play in the league for a few years and see if he could handle it and make sure they really wanna be together. Every woman who isn’t married isn’t because a man hasnt proposed.

@SandraRose I do believe that is a pear-shaped diamond…it IS rounded but pointed at the bottom, if it were heart-shaped we’d be able to see dip at the top.

While it is ideal to be married with children, it does not make him more of a man by marrying their mother. I am just assuming, but by looking at pictures, Savannah doesn’t seem like a “bling-bling” type of person. I personally don”t want a gaudy look at me ring.

I’m happy for her and honestly she looks happy. He did wait a long time, but its not like he had her back home in (Ohio???) waiting on him to finish with all his groupies and commit to her. And yea—I don’t like the ring, but it’s a ring and she seems to like it…she would have been happy with a CZ ring though.

I wonder if this ring was passed on. It does not look like a contemporary style whatsoever. Either way, I am glad they did it on their own time. Happiness is key.
