CIAA was a much classier low key event when it was in Raleigh. BUT they outgrew our city…look what its become.
After they decided to move the CIAA to Charlotte instead of Raleigh I haven’t been to one since, now I am glad I hadn’t.

When the tournament first came to Charlotte I loved being in the mix. Now I just don’t feel like it anymore with the crowds, traffic and parking. We had a fish fry yesterday as our own little CIAA celebration and my cousins that were in town for the festivities put it on their busy itineraries and that was good enough for me. We plan to make it an annual event during the tournament.
I am glad they moved it from Raleigh it SUCKED when they hosted it. Raleigh is to big and spread out. Charlotte is the best host city.
