On the very day that former NFL star Deion Sanders confirmed his relationship with Hollywood trampoline Tracey Edmonds, a fight broke out … in his bedroom.
According to tweets sent out on Deion Sanders’ official Twitter page, his estranged wife, Pilar Sanders (pictured above) and a friend of hers jumped him right in front of their sons in Dallas today. Now Deion says he is pressing charges.
I feel so embarrassed for “men” like Deion Sanders, Kanye West and Lamar Odom, who allow their women to emasculate them in front of millions of people.
Edmonds is the ex-wife of music producer and songwriter Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. She has been linked with Eddie Murphy, and a slew of other men.
Deion also tweeted the above pic of himself presumably filling out the police report.
Update: after his manly daddy took to his Twitter page to tweet about the alleged beat down at the hands of his wife — his son Deion Sanders, Jr. tweeted “Lucky I wasn’t there…..” .. which prompted his female followers to respond with a blizzard of “AND WHAT?” tweets.
Junior quickly deleted his tweet, which he replaced with:

He captioned the photograph with the message, “filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth.”
TMZ reports that police were seen outside Sanders’ house on Monday night and an unidentified person was in handcuffs. His estranged wife was taken to a hospital after complaining of a medical problem.
Last month, Pilar Sanders filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against her husband. She was responding to a tweet from Deion’s daughter, Deiondra, which said Pilar was a “gold-digging [expletive].” Deion later explained that the statement couldn’t be defamation because it’s true.
The NFL Network analyst filed for divorce in December and the story has been a fixture of the tabloids ever since. How grotesque is it? Deion, who just used his children against their mother to win public sympathy points, thinks he’s the victim. And he may even be right.
He shouldn’t have made an announcement on twitter but if Pilar and her friend attacked him they should be locked up. If he would’ve defended himself and beat the brakes off her then people would say he’s the bad guy. When my cousin was married to his wife he always said that she was crazy. I thought that he was exaggerating until he called for me to listen to what she was saying. I heard a lot of rumbling and then he said call 911. I called as I was driving. When I got there the police were there and about 5 of his dreads were on the table, along with scratches all over his face and blood was all over his shirt from the scratches on his chest. All the police said was thank you for not touching her. Said cousin is 6’1 and about 230. Had he hit that woman he would have been under the jail. You have to choose your battles smartly. And all this went down in front of the kids.
