Full Sparkle Trailer featuring Whitney Houston

The full ‘Sparkle’ trailer featuring the late Whitney Houston has been released. The film stars Jordin Sparks as Sparkle; Derek Luke, Mike Epps, and Ceelo Green in supporting roles. Sparkle is in theaters on April 20. Will it break box office records?

Saw the trailer yesterday. Looks like they’ve really updated the storyline from the original film. The mom is a singer that never made it, as supposed to a maid in the original. Or maybe she’s a singer who never made it and now works as a maid. It looks good.

How ironic the role is close to what happened to Whitney. The singer who gets on drugs, can’t quit, then dies. I wonder what was she thinking while filming? If her life paralled in some ways. Of course she didn’t know she was going to die, but she had to know it was a possibility.
