League MVP LeBron James poured in 32 points to lead Miami to a 100-96 game 2 NBA Finals win over Kevin Durant and the hapless Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night in Oklahoma City. Miami’s win evened the series at 1-1.

After the game, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith called OKC’s Russell Westbrook the “worst point guard” in NBA Finals history – despite Westbrook’s 27 point effort.

Miami needed last night’s win if they had any hope of winning the NBA Finals on their home court. Despite the referees’ terrible calls in favor of OKC, Miami held off a late 4th quarter run by Durant to defeat the young upstarts and silence their home crowd.

Even if Miami loses 1 game at home, they are an excellent road team, and OKC isn’t. “It meant everything…we just wanted to make 1 or 2 more plays than them,” said LeBron after the game.

Chris Bosh scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Game 3 is Sunday, June 17 in Miami.
