A messy private battle over Michael Jackson’s untold millions went public on Saturday when Jackson’s daughter, Paris, tweeted details of a letter signed by her aunts and uncles. The letter reportedly challenged the late Michael Jackson’s will as a fraud, and the siblings asked the executors of Michael’s estate to step down.
In the midst of all this mayhem, Katherine Jackson, the 82-year-old Jackson matriarch, was reported missing by her nephew, T.J. (Tito Jackson’s son). Paris confirmed that her grandmother was missing in a series of emotional tweets on her official Twitter.com account.
In a follow-up tweet on Monday, Paris, wrote: “8 days and counting . something is really off , this isn’t like her at all .. i wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!<|3"
Police investigators located Katherine on Sunday, holed up inside the home of her only sensible child, oldest daughter Rebbie, in Arizona.
To prove that her mother was indeed safe, Rebbie released a photo of her smiling mom playing a game of Uno with family members, including her great-grandson, London.
Family friend and gossip columnist Flo Anthony tweeted in defense of Katherine Jackson seemingly abandoning the children. “I pray they don’t feel abandoned. I just think there’s some miscommunication going on. Mrs. Jackson isn’t like that,” she wrote.
Howard Mann, Katherine’s business partner, says money is tearing the family apart. He was in court on Monday to face Michael’s executors who filed a lawsuit over Katherine selling Michael’s memorabilia.
Meanwhile, Radaronline.com reports that Katherine’s children, Janet, Randy, Jermaine and Tito, have been barred from her Calabasas, California residence after Janet, Jermaine and Randy attempted to kidnap Michael’s 3 children, Paris, 14, Prince, 15, and Blanket, 9.
Police were called to the residence on Monday evening after Janet, Jermaine and Randy pursued an SUV carrying the children to their mother’s home. Janet rushed Paris as she exited the vehicle and attempted to snatch the girl’s cell phone. A surveillance videos shows Randy and a bodyguard intervening, and Paris followed her brother Prince inside the home.
According to family sources, the Calabasas residence (where Katherine moved with the 3 children to escape her family) is more like a “hotel” than a home, with random people coming and going at all hours. The Calabasas home is clearly not a stable environment for the emotionally scarred children.
