C-list reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, 42, finally spoke out on the publicity stunt that literally blew up in her face. After lying to the public for 2 years about her fake relationship and marriage to troubled NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, 34, Lozada wants the public to believe her side of the story.

Evelyn tells TMZ, “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me.”

Lozada and Johnson supposedly fought in their car outside their Davie, Florida home Saturday night. A neighbor who called 911 said Johnson “hit” Lozada in the face, resulting in a linear 3-inch gash on her forehead which is not consistent with a head butt. That’s the problem when dealing with reality show actors — it’s very difficult to believe anything that comes out of their mouths.

Evelyn also tells TMZ, “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”

As you know, I broke the scoop about Lozada and Johnson’s relationship — even though I knew at the time that it was fake. Lozada’s rep even asked me if I thought my readers would believe they were a couple because, as he put it, Lozada could not stand Johnson. At the time that I wrote my post, Lozada and Johnson had only met once, in Miami.

Lozada and her publicist manufactured this relationship with Johnson so that Lozada could have an ongoing plot line on Basketball Wives. At the time, Lozada and I were cordial to each other on Twitter.com. We DM’d each other on Twitter.com, and she confirmed to me that this PR guy was working for her.

Eventually, Lozada and her publicist took their scoops to TMZ.com after I put her publicist on blast on Twitter.com for relentlessly blowing up my cell and house phones. Lozada and her publicist thought they had a sucker blogger willing to manipulate the public for them like a certain popular website is doing for her now.

So as you can see, I have a little history with Lozada who is extremely deceptive and manipulative. So don’t believe everything you hear.
