Blogger Nicola C. Mitchell writes that her 10-year-old god-daughter Jade Morris is missing under unusual circumstances, and the Nevada police refuse to investigate:

Good Morning Las Vegas. My 10 year old God-Daughter Jade Morris is missing. On Friday afternoon her step mother Brenda Jean Stokes picked her up and was arrested yesterday at the Bellagio Hotel after stabbing her co-worker. Now Brenda denies ever picking up Jade and no one has seen her. PLEASE SHARE THIS PICTURE ON ALL OF YOUR PAGES! PLEASE. This is confusing she left with the lady at 5 something, however the lady was arrested at 10. I mean where was the kid? Was the kid with her when she got arrested..

Well the few stories that I could find didn’t help make sense of the situation. The mother claims to have allowed her baby daddy’s mentally unstable ex-girlfriend to take her child on outings regularly. The woman has a history of mental health issues and was said to be off her Xanax that day. Why would the mother even let this woman spend time with the child when the father had moved out of the state a year ago? There is more to this story, but I guess I’ll never know what it is.

Exactly. If the step mom already stabbed someone, they should be out looking for her, because she might do something to that baby!!! Clearly she knows something, if she picked the little girl up from school and then said she did not go and get her! smh. Praying for this family. I keep telling folks you have to keep a very very very close eye on who you allow your babies to be with and around!!

The crazy lady said she never had the child so it is her word against the mother’s. I’m sure it doesn’t help the mom’s case that she is admitting to letting her baby daddy’s crazy ex-girlfriend spend time with her child alone. The child’s disappearance is being investigated. The crazy lady just hasn’t been charged with the crime. Maybe that’s what this story is supposed to be about.

I hope she’s ok, really. Speaking from experience, our family was told “didn’t meet the criteria” for a search. The cops are just waiting for leads, tips, or a body in most cases. Sorry to be so blunt, but it’s truth. I know we all feel they should get a search party with dogs and shut down the city. They dont and will not, trust me. For this reason, you see the family and friends on tv conducting their own search as best possible.
