Supposedly, socialite Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West have purchased a 10,000-square-foot, $11 million mansion in a gated community in Bel Air, CA., where they plan to raise their test tube baby. I’ll believe it when I see pictures of Kanye walking down the driveway wearing boxers and a robe to pick up the morning paper or to check the mailbox.
Hollywood Life reports that the house is located “in a super private gated community in Bel Air.” Kim and Kanye plan to “gut the house” and rebuild a 16,000-square-foot manse — since 10,000-square-feet is nothing to brag about.
Kim and Kanye’s neighbors include “Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston and NBA star Chris Paul.
When construction is completed, the house will be equipped with a home gym, bowling alley, full hair and makeup salon for Kim and a state-of-the-art recording studio for Kanye. And the kid’s nursery will be the size of a football field compared to Blue Ivy’s modest 2,200-square-foot nursery at Beyonce and Jay Z’s NY apartment (I had to throw that in there since Bey and Jay are who they’re in competition with).
