Meet 9-year-old Lil Poopy. Like most kids his age, he loves hip hop music. But unlike most boys his age, he is behaving like a grown man; groping women’s behinds, cussing like a sailor, and rapping about guns and drugs in rap music videos. His dad, Luis Rivera Sr., thinks what his son is doing is cute. Rivera is now under investigation by the Massachusetts authorities for child welfare laws.
Rivera Sr., who is being charged with child abuse and neglect, compares Lil Poopy’s behavior with hitting home runs. “When you hit a home run, when you go to the bleachers, they tap you on the butt,” Luis Rivera told The Enterprise newspaper. “He’s not doing anything wrong,” he said of Lil Poopy, whose real name is Luis Rivera Jr.
But police Lt. David Dickinson thinks otherwise.
“It’s a bit much for a 9-year-old. It warrants the attention of the Department of Children and Families.”
The kid earns $7,500 to perform at adult nightclubs with a group calling themselves the Coke Boys. His stage name is not Lil Poopy, it’s Cocaine Cowboy.
