Supposedly, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha Williams Stewart wasn’t aware that her former NFL husband filed for divorce until she read it on the blogs.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Consitution, Koprdell Stewart filed the divorce papers in Fulton County Court on Marc 22 (just in time to be featured in an upcoming episode of the show).
He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. And he made sure to mention that Porsha was a cast member on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“She was 100 percent completely blindsided, a producer source told US Weekly. “Friends are trying to contact her but she’s not picking up her phone or returning texts,” the source said.
Yeah, right.
After recovering from the shock of it all, Porsha released her own prepared statement through a publicist.
“Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her,” the rep said. “Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith.”
Let me guess; the couple will work through their “differences” just in time for the Reunion show?

I saw an interview with Killer Mike on the breakfast club yesterday. He said that him and his wife was approached to join the cast of Love & HipHop ATL. He said they were being interviewed but was turned down because him and his wife’s marriage is in good standing, they actually love each other and all that.
So basically your relationship has to already be fcuked up or atleast be able to manufacture a relationship to be selected for these shows.

Porscha said she put off filing herself because she was committed to the marriage. So yeah she knew divorce was a possibility, but could have been blindsided with the filing. I know of a girl whose husband had the papers sent while he was at work.

I’m sure someone already said it, but just in case… The reunion show has already been taped and Cordell didn’t show up. He filed for divorce shortly after the taping. I think Porsha let those ladies get in her head. If neither of them can accept each other the way they are then they need to change things. Maybe she pretended to be his perfect girl to get the ring, but then she wanted him to change into what she really wanted. Either way I feel bad for both of them. This can’t be easy.
