Troubled singer Rihanna made a terrible mistake on Twitter.com early this morning when she sent out a tweet indicating that Nelson Mandela was dead. Thinking that Rihanna had advanced knowledge of his death, the media scrambled to confirm the death — only to learn it wasn’t true.
The former South African president is on his death bed with pneumonia, but he hasn’t ascended up Heaven’s stair yet. Rihanna, who was obviously high on something, tweeted: “Nelson Mandela….one of the most incredible men to ever walk this earth!!! Sending prayers up to the Heavens for you! #AngelOnEarth”
What an embarrassment she is to Bajans everywhere.
