R&B crooner Usher Raymond is still trying to sell Tameka Raymond’s 12,000 sq ft mansion in Roswell. The sprawling mansion with 8 beds and 11 baths was listed for $3.2 million in January. But after sitting for months with no serious offers, Usher dropped the price $550K in June. The mansion boasts a chef’s kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances, a hair salon with spa, home gym and 7-car garage. The home is about 5 miles from Usher’s $1.9 million mansion in Johns Creek.
Last year I told you that Tameka refused to allow prospective buyers into the home for walk throughs. Usher ended up taking Tameka to court so he could put the house on the market. One well-heeled prospective buyer told me she had concerns over whether or not Tameka would leave the home voluntarily if the sale goes through. Property taxes are $55K annually.

The likelihood of being able to pay the maintenance, utility bills and taxes on a 12K sq foot home are outrageous. If he gave her the house, its somewhat justification for her to go after even more money to upkeep the house. He did right. I lived in a 4500 sq/ft home last year and it was ENTIRELY too much for me and my two daughters so 12000 sq feet is straight foolishness.
@Sandra im certain Tamika would decorate your home if you asked. Thats what she loves to do.

You should see the tax bill for this same house in Buckhead. I used to work for the State of Georgia, a mansion this in Buckhead would have at least $90k tax bill attached to it. Like you I used to look at some of those bills like

Ain’t this the same neighborhood in Roswell where Kim and Kroy lived. It’s like 10 or 12 famous folks that live in this neighborhood. It’s Stonemoor or either Heatherwood because those are the main two in Roswell. It’s almost sickening how many “exclusive” communities are in North Fulton . CCOS in Alpharetta was the original (I think that’s where Ush used to live) but that damn Manor Golf and Country club is out of this werl. Just stupid money up in all those parts of ATL…

Two years of marriage and you deserve a $3M mansion? Nope, you want the kids to enjoy the lifestyle Usher can afford, give him custody. She’s lucky to get a settlement for her 2 years, considering child support will be a given. Tameka better enjoy the house for the time being cuz it’ll sell eventually. Unfortunately for Usher, there are other manses in this same community lower priced, so to SR’s questions, it’s probably a good idea to sell it furnished.
@27 it’s Heatherwood, ur right. And Manor Golf in Alpharetta is where Eric/Deshawn Snow lived. I love that subdivision. CCOS is dated; if you’re fortunate enough to buy there, you’ll have to update the home 8/10. The same for St Ives, which is not too out of reach for us common folk. You can catch a crib in that guard gated community low 400’s sometimes..even high 300’s (needs work). But this community where Meka lives, ur talking $2M minimum for the average home there.

Part of handling business would’ve been to make sure her name was on the assets acquired, whether her money could buy it or not. The judge didn’t say they had to sell the house and split the profit. The judge just said meka has to move out. It’s not theirs, it’s his.
