Jets fan pose with Jets owner

The NY Jets fanatic who was caught on video punching a female New England Patriots fan posed for a photo with Jets team owner Woody Johnson, the NY Post reports.

The photo, which was obtained by sports-themed website Deadspin.com, was originally posted to Kurt Paschke’s Facebook page the week before he slugged a woman following the Jets’ overtime upset win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Johnson and Paschke posed together on Paschke’s custom team bus prior to the Steelers vs Jets game on Oct. 13. The Post reports it is likely Johnson wasn’t aware he was posing with a convicted killer and woman beater.

Paschke, 38, served prison time for the 1993 stabbing death of 17-year-old Henri Ferrer. According to the Post, Paschke’s bus is a familiar sight at the stadium. It is festooned with Jets logos, banners and flags. Paschke’s mother sewed the Jets-themed curtains.

The elder Paschke has been quoted in the media as saying her son was the victim in the melee that erupted after the game.
