Actress Sandra Bullock surprised talk show host Jonathan Ross by rapping the lyrics to the Sugar Hill Gang’s classic hit song “Rapper’s Delight”.
Bullock, 49, was a guest on the Jonathan Ross Show, where she promoted her #1 movie in the country, Gravity.
Bullock said she learned the words to the song because she liked a guy in high school. “I was like, next time I go to the dance, I’m gonna know every word,” she recalls. “I’m gonna make sure he sees me lip syncing it, and I’m gonna catch his eye. And I’m gonna, like, say the words. And he’s gonna like me — and sadly it worked,” she said, as the audience roared with laughter.
“I need some beats. Give me some beats, yo!” she said before launching into her rap.
Bullock is raising her adopted son, 4-year-old Louis Bardo, as a single mother after divorcing Monster Garage host Jesse James in 2010.
Earlier this month, Bullock stirred controversy when she said she just got around to potty training Louis.
