In an interview with GMA, the former brown-eyed girl says, contrary to the “self-hate” and “low self esteem” comments, she got the controversial procedure for no other reason other than wanting to do something different. And it’s something she feels she has the right to do because it’s her body and can do whatever she likes with it. Besides, she loves them and so does her man.
On how the procedure is done:
They are ice gray. That’s the color I purchased. They go into the eye and they make a little slit. They take this implant — and it’s folded up — and they open it, and they spread it over the eye.
They told me that the procedure would be quick. Like, five to 10 minutes an eye. They woke me up and it’s very blurry and it kind of, comes, fades in. I looked in the mirror and was like, “They’re amazing!” I love them!”

I just wanted to do something different. And I have the right to do that. It’s my body.
