Judging from the reaction on Twitter.com last night, it’s clear that the breakout star of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood is former B2k frontman Omarion. The 29-year-old father-of-one checked his baby mama, Apryl Jones, for showing disrespect towards his mother, Leslie.
Yes, Leslie has her issues (alcoholic seizures among them), but she deserves to be respected by Omari’s woman just by virtue of the fact that Leslie is his mother.
There is nothing sexier than a good black man who stands up for his mama. Why he chose Apryl as the vehicle to deliver his daughter is a mystery.
It’s hard to know if the rancor and vitriol between Apryl and Leslie is scripted — as is most of the drama on shows produced by Mona Scott-Young. But Apryl’s hostility towards Leslie seems genuine. Either that or she’s a very good actress.
