Pilar, Ex-Wife of Deion Sanders, Sentenced to Week in Jail

A Texas judge threw the book at Pilar Sanders, the obstinate ex-wife of NFL legend Deion Sanders, for violating a child custody agreement by not returning his children to him on time. Pilar was booked into a Dallas jail on Tuesday where she will serve out a seven day sentence.

“Pilar hasn’t seen the children since August,” Sanders, 47, told Sandrarose.com via phone last month.

Deion said police were forced to kick in a door at Pilar’s residence when she refused to return the children to him after a visitation.

Deion sued Pilar last month after she took to Twitter.com to publicly disparage him via Tweets and audio links.

“My children are happy,” said Deion, who portrayed his ex as a desperate women who wants to derail his hit reality TV show on OWN Network, Deion’s Family Playbook, featuring his fiancée, producer Tracey Edmonds, and his extended family.

Pilar Sanders appeared in court in suburban Dallas without an attorney for a hearing requested by Deion Sanders’ attorney Rick Robertson who requested changes to the divorce decree and an injunction to stop her from disparaging her ex-husband.

As part of the ruling from Collin County District Judge Ray Wheless, Pilar Sanders’ visitation rights were suspended indefinitely and she was ordered to remove all statements that are damaging to her ex-husband, Robertson said.

“We won on all parts,” Robertson said.

Pilar Sanders was not immediately available for comment.

BUT with that said, my son wont tell me anything anymore because he said “you know how you get” I still check in at school and wherever else he goes bc I think its important for everybody to know that THIS child is being looked after.

My daughter is soft spoken like that too. You have to tread lightly because they hate to be embarrassed but you gotta let them know to speak up when there is a problem. Maybe reiterate to her that she needs to tell you if she is having problems at school, then if it gets you nowhere just ask gently.

A police officer in Richmond, California, took too much of his work home.

Officer Joe Avila picked up four to five pounds of marijuana from a UPS store as part of an investigation in November of last year, The Contra Costa Times reports. But instead of filing a report and taking the evidence to the police station, as required, Avila just took the drugs home.

After an internal investigation questioned him about his missing reports — 37 in all — Avila admitted to keeping the marijuana. “Avila told investigators that he used two pounds of the marijuana to train his police dog in February 2014, and when pressed, he acknowledged there may be more in the trunk of his K-9 patrol car or at his house,” The Times reports.
Amazingly, officials at the Richmond Police Department said Avila probably won’t be charged with any crime, citing evidence too weak to produce a conviction.

I like their show (probably because I find Deion’s arrogance attractive ). He said he doesn’t speak negatively about her in front of the children, but every time they come back from being with her, they are resentful towards him. Cause there are so many of them with untreated bipolar and schizophrenia which is hereditary. Im not one to say medicate a person immediately but I do believe that people need to be encouraged more to go to counseling (any type) when it gets to the point where they can no longer cope with things occuring in their life. Also when you see people start to isolate themselves, become introverts when they were never like that before those are usually red flags and as relatives and friends we need to be involved in asking them if they are ok and trying to encourage them more to get out of those ‘moods”

It’s not that easy I’ve been watching my friend struggle with bipolarism (word? ) over the past decade. It’s gotten REALLY bad over the past couple of years. You can’t make grown people do what they don’t want to do It’s so hard to have a front row to seat to a breakdown and not be able to do anything. I sometimes have to take a step back for my own sanity.

It’s not that easy I’ve been watching my friend struggle with bipolarism (word? ) over the past decade. It’s gotten REALLY bad over the past couple of years. You can’t make grown people do what they don’t want to do It’s so hard to have a front row to seat to a breakdown and not be able to do anything. I sometimes have to take a step back for my own sanity.

I’m very open with my mental health struggles on here and I am telling you Bipolar is a BEAST. Its not just about being depressed its like an alternate version of reality when you are manic. I’m starting to get more in tune with myself and understanding what kind of phase I am in but it is hard work. VERY HARD. Wouldn’t wish it on soul.

I went to counseling earlier this year through my EAP. Best thing I could’ve done for myself I found out that I have PCOS and depression is a major system because of the excess androgens (hormones def play a major role). I’m on meds not for depression but for something relating to my syndrome and I noticed i’ve def felt better.

Ladies def go see an endocrinologist if you’re not feeling like yourself. Sometimes it can be more than just your mind…

so i have to leave early today because my babysitter’s little cousin (9 years old!) died and the wake is today.

Agreed, but God also provides us with other types of help to get us through tough times. Lots of folks self-medicate, too, possibly as a way of avoiding the taboo of seeking psychological help. It’s complicated, for sure.

Could be but look how she died. Some cultures, suicide is dying without dignity. Its a huge shame on the family. It could be privacy coupled with other things but one of her friends did a video montage to Frankie Beverly n Maze’s “Before I let go” and it was so damn nice, at the end it showed the cover of the funeral program. the funerals for my aunt and cousin are also this week.

I’m just cycling right now. I have kids to take care of and meds make it hard to function. I don’t like the dull feeling. I also have an anxiety disorder thats really bad so right now I’m not even driving because I just can’t handle it. I’m going back to counseling soon though. My mom worries about me a lot. I really don’t feel like I am a danger to myself but I also feel like that might be a different story if I didn’t have kids. I’ve only been hospitalized once but it was bad. I threatened to walk into traffic during a manic phase, that was like 4 years ago though.

This was her biggest complaint about the meds. They made her dull and tired like she didn’t want to do anything.

I took her to the hospital back in March when it got REALLY bad. Super paranoia It was right after she lost custody of her son so things just got to be too much.

for you!! that you get through it. AND GO TO COUNSELING!! I truly believe talking to people outside of loved ones can truly make a difference and help you focus.

The meds were not helping me at all so now I’m clean from them

I like the show too and I never watch these types of shows (I think OWN does a decent job on this and Kim Whytley’s) That woman does not have the childrens’s best interest at heart. After she kept them for over 2 months late, they came back like they were zombies with new El-whatever names She lives close to him , no wonder he’s moving to the other side of town.
