Rap mogul Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Jr. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at his brand new Scales 925 restaurant in Atlanta on Friday.
On hand to help celebrate T.I.’s newest Atlanta business establishment were his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and his wife Elizabeth Reed, among others.

The grand opening isn’t until April but T.I. wanted to start the festivities early to give Atlanta a taste of what’s to come.
Lifestyle blogger Tami of Talkinwithtami.com, right, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 30 Allen Place in downtown Atlanta. She said the name Scales 925 is derived from T.I.’s astrological sign (he’s a Libra) and his birthday. Some people mistakenly thought the scales were in reference to the instrument used to weigh product — a throwback to T.I.’s hardscrabble “rubber band” days in the trap.
According to Tami, Scales 925 is “going to be Atlanta’s newest culinary experience offering a brilliant and unexpected mix of upscale southern cuisine and stunning design.”

T.I.’s sister Precious, left, and his mother Violeta Morgan supported him at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
T.I.’s personal Chef Ashley will head the culinary team at Scales 925 Restaurant.
Atlanta’s business elite turned out to support T.I.’s latest business endeavor.
Congrats to T.I.
