R&B Diva Ciara Harris moved the audience to tears with her heart-wrenching performance of breakup anthem “I Bet” on BET’s “Black Girls Rock” special which aired on Sunday.
Ciara was among the dozen or so artists who performed for first lady Michelle Obama at the New Jersey performing Arts Center.
“I Bet” documents Ciara’s ongoing struggles with choosing the wrong men due to her Love Addiction and low self worth.
Ciara’s fans debated whether the 29-year-old single mom was lip syncing because her performance was just short of perfection. CiCi, a trained dancer, is not known for her live singing prowess.
CiCi’s sixth album Jackie is in stores on May 4th.
