Friend of the blog Nick Cannon was hospitalized after a steamy make out session with his youngish girlfriend went horribly wrong.
Just kidding. On Wednesday, the 34-year-old multi-media mogul posted an image of himself resting on a gurney inside an emergency room.
In the photo caption, he wrote:
“Dont worry, Temporary pit stop… Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can’t run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I’m a super hero… Now I’m not saying I’m Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood”
Cannon, who is estranged from his wife and the mother of his twins, Mariah Carey, was hospitalized in 2012 for blood clots in his lungs and acute kidney failure caused by the blood disorder Lupus.
When he recovered, Cannon filmed PSAs educating the public about Lupus and kidney failure.
It’s not a stretch to assume his latest hospitalization is linked to his past medical problems.
It’s good that he didn’t blame his hospitalization on the mythical celebrity diagnosis “dehydration and exhaustion.” while dehydration can be a medical emergency, “exhaustion” is a totally fake diagnosis that is almost always meant to disguise the real nature of a celebrity’s illness.
Get better, Nick!
