The Obama administration continues to overburden the health care industry with unnecessary legislation.
Under a proposed regulation by the Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday, transgender people and cross-dressers will be allowed to share hospital rooms with patients who fit their sexual identity.
In other words, if you are a biological female, you could wake up from surgery to find a man wearing a wig sharing your hospital room.
And if you complain too loudly about sharing your room with a cross-dressing man, you could be labeled a bigot by the hospital staff.
The Obama administration’s proposed regulations ensures that people with the mental disorder known as Gender Dysphoria will have more rights than you do.
The Obama administration cited a complaint against the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York for violating a cross-dressing man’s rights by forcing him to share a hospital room with another man.
But in making its case for transgender healthcare rights, the Obama administration fabricated lies out of whole cloth to push their radical gay agenda.
“For example, insurers and medical providers wouldn’t be allowed to refuse ovarian cancer treatments to a patient who identifies as a man.”
As a nurse I can assure you that a woman would never be turned away for treatment of ovarian (or any) cancer based on her gender identity. But this is the nonsense that the Obama administration wants you to believe.
The new legislation will not force insurance companies to pay for sex change surgeries.
And doctors can still use the “conscience clause” to ignore the legislation based on their religious beliefs.
